Owens Recovery Science (ORS) is our exclusive U.S. distributor for the Delfi BFR Pro system. We have collaborated with ORS for many years and value their role as a respected educational leader in the field. Their extensive network of researchers and practitioners, combined with their commitment to staying current with the latest research, helps ensure that best practices in Controlled Blood Flow Training can be widely adopted.

Our relationship with ORS began years ago with a collaboration with Johnny Owens, then the Clinical Director at the U.S. Army’s Center for the Intrepid and a leading expert in Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR). To advance and promote the adoption of evidence-based practices, Johnny founded Owens Recovery Science in 2015, a clinician-owned and operated company dedicated to education and medical device support.

ORS offers a leading certification program that has become the top provider of professional Blood Flow Restriction education in the U.S. The program helps equip medical professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively use Blood Flow Restriction Training in rehabilitation and performance settings. Participants in the certification program train using our Delfi BFR Pro equipment, benefitting from its precise measurement of limb occlusion pressure and its accurate pressure regulation during exercise—what we call Controlled Blood Flow Training.

Today, Owens Recovery Science is the leading provider of Blood Flow Restriction education for major sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS), college sports teams, the U.S. Department of Defence, NASA, hospital systems, and clinicians worldwide. Backed by ongoing research, ORS is recognized for excellence in Blood Flow Restriction education.
